Gilbert Fraser Reserve, located river side in the City of Fremantle, has had work done to have fittings and poles replaced as well as upgrading the light level from existing 50 Lux to 100 Lux. The previous fittings were degraded and did not meet current Australian standards. Changing to LED from traditional lamps will increase energy efficiency making it better for our environment while decreasing running costs.
The reserve is situated in a residential area so the lighting design was developed to minimise light spill to the neighbouring properties. The fixtures chosen have optics designed and engineered to shine directly on the field while minimising glare and light pollution to surrounding houses.
The City Of Fremantle were very impressed that we were able to come up with a fast track and upgraded solution to their previous lighting.
